Artificial Intelligence and Robots are here now! Posted: June 1, 2023 Advances in technology have brought us to a point where AI (artificial intelligence) and robotics are competing against mankind for jobs and resources. There are not many jobs that machines cannot do at the moment and there may be no jobs that they cannot do in the future. AI is smarter than we are and millions of people are already going to it for answers to all types of questions. AI, robot brains, have been improved such that they are reliable enough and large numbers of robots will be deployed in the near future. HUMAN LIVES MATTER means that humans have rights that are being threatened by technology and that the issue needs to be addressed by our leaders immediately with the utmost zeal and willingness to bypass old rules, regulations, and customs, that might hinder their ability to act timely on the issues. Politicians must find a way to provide subsistence for our citizens who will be displaced by technology and machines. Almost all of us will lose our jobs as employers feverishly automate to eliminate employees and hike their profits. We need to let our leaders know that Human Lives Matter! We have only a few months before it won't matter what we do because the technology will be so advanced that it will be unstoppable. * What will our economy look like when 60% of the people are unemployed with no income? * What will our society become when college graduates use technology to graduate from a university without ever writing a term paper or any written report? * What will it be like when men are trying to decide whether to put our government in the hands of superintelligence? | ||
